Sometimes difficult to identify the real issue in a public group

To The Expositor:

I read with considerable interest the letter in the July 13 paper written by Lyle Dewar, (‘Writer is disappointed in the board of Manitoulin Community Living,’ Page 4).

Sometimes it is difficult to identify the real issue in a public organization.

In this case, the problem appears to be easy to identify. Things fell apart since the last election of officers. The problem is the board, not staff presently there or questionably dismissed. All fingers point to one member who should do the honourable thing and resign immediately. Call a membership meeting and find competent people to run the board. Correct all wrongs, which have been done in the meantime.

Let’s get the problem solved.

Sincerely,
Norm Morrell
