The town of Mindemoya is very lucky to have such a top notch health care facility
To the Expositor:
I am writing this letter to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Manitoulin Health Centre, Mindemoya location on behalf of the Nevills and Angott families. Marion June Nevills recently passed away in the palliative care unit of the Mindemoya Hospital. She had previously been admitted in August after a fall and was in and out of the facility until her passing on January 8, 2020.
Timothy Nevills, her husband and I, Krash Angott, her son, would like to thank all the doctors, nurses and staff at the facility for doing an outstanding job caring for her in all respects. The palliative care suite with all of its amenities made it very easy for our families and friends to spend long periods of time with Marion during her last days. It was truly a well-equipped and thought out space that handled our every need very well.
We would also like to express our gratitude to all the staff, nurses and doctors for their caring and understanding during a very difficult time for all of us. They were there very quickly when needed and treated Mrs. Nevills with dignity and respect. They made sure that she was comfortable and even took the time to comfort and support all of us present in the room with her. They also communicated to us what was happening every step of the way. In our opinion they went above and beyond to insure that this experience was as bearable as it could possibly be.
The town of Mindemoya is very lucky to have such a top notch health care facility and an extremely caring and professional staff. On behalf of the Nevills and Angott families we would like to express our thanks and gratitude for making an extremely difficult event in our lives much more bearable by their integrity, conduct and understanding.
