Sudbury search warrant nets $13,000 in marijuana

SUDBURY–On the evening of the 7th of April 2014, Members of the Drug Enforcement Unit of the Greater Sudbury Police Service executed a search warrant at an apartment on Lasalle Boulevard. A search of the residence and an automobile resulted in the seizure of over $8000 in cash and over 1.3 kg of Marijuana valued at over $13,000.00. Three parties were arrested at the scene and charged with the following offences:

William Trebb, 25 years

  • Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime

Jarret Martin, 23 years:

  • Breach of Probation
  • Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime

Dustin Lafleur, 23 years

  • Fail to Comply with Recognizance of Bail,
  • Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime

Dustin Lafleur was also arrested on an outstanding warrant for 2 counts of Fail To Attend.

All three are currently in custody. Accused Martin and Lafleur will appear for a Bail Hearing on the 10th of April while William Trebb will appear on the 16th of April.

  • Get Real

    Just STOP wasting our tax dollars on this organized idiocy, get the cops to do some real “serve and protect” work. This is a natural plant that has NO harmful effects and has multiple medicinal properties, there are no reasons for it to be a criminal offence, other then “it ‘s the law”. Focus on drunk driving, property crimes, abuse… time for society to grow up.
