Marketing Officer (Full-time)
If you have experience and gifts in the area of marketing and promotions, Noojmowin Teg welcomes you to apply for a unique and exciting position. The successful candidate will assist the organization in the development and strategic dissemination of important and timely health information and promotional resource materials for the organization and programs specifically. To successfully meet the needs of the organization, the successful candidate must have relevant education, knowledge and experience, and demonstrate high creativity, self-initiative, and enthusiasm. The incumbent will report to the senior administration team.
Diploma or degree in Marketing/ Communications, or any PR-related discipline
Minimum 3 years’ experience in Marketing, Communications, PR or related field
Experience and responsibility for budgets, ordering marketing materials, and related requirements
Experience in development and implementation of marketing strategy
Demonstrated proficiency across all major technology devices/platforms, including but not limited to marketing platforms including Social Media (Facebook, LinkedIn, U-Tube), Blogging, radio, etc.
Some experience in Web design and development
Exceptional writing, communication, and editing skills, including newsletter development
Extensive knowledge of current marketing and promotional strategies and trends
Motivated, passionate self-starter with the ability to handle multiple projects, deliverables and timelines simultaneously with little to no direct supervision
Graphic development experience, an asset
Anishnaabemowin and knowledge of the Anishnaabek culture and protocols, an asset.
