Classified Word Ads are text-only, non-business advertisements located in the Classified section of the newspaper. Word ads are priced according to the number of words in your ad, unlike Display ads which are priced according to measurement. If you would like a box outlining your ad, you must purchase a Display Ad.

The Expositor includes categories such as: For Sale, Coming Events, Yard Sale, Rentals, as well as In Memoriam verses and Death Notices. Visit the Weekly Classifieds link (or look through a copy of the newspaper) to see a full list of available categories. A photo may be included at an additional cost of $15.

Classified Word Ad Rates

Classified Word Ad of 25 words or less	$8.00 + HST
Classified Word Ad of 25 words or more	$8.00 + $0.10 for every additional word + HST
In Memoriam Notices	$8.00 for header and footer plus $0.20 for each line of the verse + HST
Birth Notices	Free – with a picture add $15.00 + HST
Death Notices	$40.00 + HST – with picture, add $15.00

 Placing a Classified Word Ad

To place a Classified Word Ad, phone 368-2744, come to our office in person or email your word ad to expositorsub@manitoulin.ca. If you are emailing your ad, you can either send an attached Word Document, or type your ad copy right into your message.

We request pre-payment for all Classified Word ads, unless you have an account with us. We accept credit card payments over the phone. You may come to The Expositor office in Little Current to make your payment by cash, debit or cheque.

If you would like to run your Classified Word Ad for additional weeks, just let us know before the deadline.

DEADLINE FOR SUBMITTING YOUR AD TO THE EXPOSITOR IS FRIDAY AT 4:00 PM.
