He gradually entered the work force engaging in jobs in Elliot Lake, Chicago, Illinois and Toronto, Ontario. He retired from his job in June 2009 at Consolidated Fastfrate Inc., Toronto, after 34 years of service. Lloyd enjoyed visiting with his friends and neighbours on his daily travels. He spent quality time with his family members especially with children and grandchildren, brothers and sister, and with his nieces and nephews. He would sometimes show up unexpectedly, ready for anything and everything, especially at family gatherings. As with most of us Lloyd enjoyed the joys and sorrows of what life has to offer. He was a kind and generous man and helped out with family the best way he could. He became a Santa Claus to some in his older days. He will always be fondly remembered by his immediate family, his nieces and nephews and his working friends at Consolidated Fastfrate. Funeral visitation and funeral mass was at the St. Anthony Daniel Parish Church in Kaboni. Visitation started on Sunday, January 5, 2014 at 4 pm and continued until the funeral mass on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at 11 am. Interment in Wikwemikongsing Cemetery. We invite you to share your thoughts and fond memories by visiting www.islandfuneralhome.ca. Arrangements entrusted to Island Funeral Home, Little Current.
