Blue-green algae bloom reported in Lake Mindemoya

LAKE MINDEMOYA--The Ministry of the Environment has advised the Sudbury and District Health Unit that results from samples taken September 28, 2012 on Manitoulin Island from Lake Mindemoya in the Treasure Island area are positive for blue-green algae (cyanobacteria).
