LORNA CECELIA FOGG
October 24, 1948 – December 14, 2009
In loving memory of Lorna Fogg, a resident of Gore Bay, who passed away at the Sudbury General Hospital on Monday, December 14, 2009 following a car accident. She was born in Pembroke, daughter of the late Maxime and Veronica (Vezina) Gervais. Lorna was a compassionate teacher and nurse. She worked at long term care facilities in Timmins, Sudbury and Wikwemikong. She was presently the Administrator at Manitoulin Lodge in Gore Bay and taking university courses to further her education. Her career and studies were accomplishments she was very proud of. Lorna loved Manitoulin and the outdoors, particularly ice fishing. She cherished family traditions and spending time with her dogs. Her greatest joy in life was her family. She was especially happy spending time at Elizabeth Bay with Ken and her grandchildren whom she adored. Lorna is survived by her beloved husband Ken, loving mother of daughter Natalie Beauchamp (Kevin) grandchildren Ty and Megan of Sudbury; son Kevin Barnes (Tia Russell) children Hanna and Lily of Renfrew. Dear sister of Lorraine Tate (Robert) of Petawawa and Noreen Desormeaux (Paul) of Timmins. Loved aunt of Kenneth, Bernard, Tricia, Alecia and Travis. Predeceased by niece Colleen. Friends called at the Culgin Funeral Home, Gore Bay on Friday December 18 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service was conducted in the Wm. G. Turner of the funeral home on Saturday, December 19, 2009 at 11 am. If so desired, donations to the Lung Association or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
